In the city were I was born the popular genre of music is either reggaeton or cumbia. I grew up with it but always had something for rock although a modern derivative of it; popular bands like U2, Audioslave, Linkin Park in conjunction with argentinian bands like Babasónicos, La bersuit, etc were my favorites. I moved to another city when it was time to start my university life, there I got to know Led Zeppelin. This british rock band from the 70' rewired my brain, I devoured all their disks never listening to another song if it wanst theirs.
Two years later I came back to my city for vacations and went to a karaoke with some friends, and in that place where everyone was singing romantic songs, reggaeton, cumbia in spanish... I put in queue the song I wanted to sing next: "Whole lotta love" from Led Zeppelin. I sang that song many times in the intimacy of my room between study sessions and this was the time to show off. I got perfect score and the entire place applauded me, that was and will be the only time I felt for a moment like a rock star.

Do you have any story related to music?

Yeah... when I lived in Tandil, my dad used to rent a karaoke machine from someone (it wasn't anything too fancy, basically a glorified stereo) and we would sing theme songs for a laugh, particularly Kitto Pizza's. It was extremely fun XD

Wait Kitto pizzas like the magic kids show? Did the show had songs? Or is it a band that took that name? *Googling furiously*

Exactly that one.

Lol thats a song from Alfredo Casero apparently but yeah I can see the alluring to it. I also remember singing with a friend with who I shared an apartment in order to halve the expenses, we will sing in the nights(poor of our neighbours) but with passion, leaving our souls out the openings of Pokemon, Digimon, Caballeros del Zodiaco, etc... ah how to say "cantar a todo pulmón"? Singing with all the power of your lungs out... really brings happiness .

In my country, they will either blasting love and rap songs by my own country or Michael Jackson. It's not surprising though, as most of the elders always listen to him back in the day…King of Pop for a reason

What would be one of the earliest memory for me to music's though would be the radio on GTA 5. So many bangers

We used to have a lot of underground punk and metal shows around when I was kid at different venues, but now they are mostly thrown at people's homes and yards. I live in a very low population area, the state of Maine is home to about a million people, So the most culture we get Is in our "cities" (in quotes cause none of them have more then 500,000 people at any given time. The capital city, where I'm from mind you, is only home to about 35,000 people).... so there isn't a lot, and that also explains why I have to work a real job instead of being a musician.

That's why I said when you posted photos of the outside of your house that I needed to go outside to search materials for survival, I got that feeling of desolation, like I wouldn't even hear the sound of birds there lol, the snow didn't help either. IIIRC you showed also your room with a lot of musical instruments, don't you promote yourself on internet or something? That's what I'd do if I had the talent.

Kinda did that before, you know. I'm old now, I mean as far as Rock and Metal goes, 40 is ancient. I mean, I'm open to projects, but I don't have the same drive to 24/7 like you gotta do, and I hate social media. Anyone looking for a composer? lol.

You do hear birds though, just not right now, they all went South for the winter, like the rich people. Snoogins.

I see, sometimes is enough a catchy idea that you can glue it with music. But good ideas most of the time is a thing of luck. Do you have any place where you uploaded your compositions? I'd like to listen

I once got to perform at a HUGE concert with like so many girls, it was pretty cool but they went to other schools you wouldn't know them, I run Metallica btw
