Wii U Just bought a Wii U, any tips for games? (Native or emulation)

I bought a Wii U and holy shit I am in love with this console. Since I don't have a handheld that is not broken (My 3DS broke down and with the prices of these things going up I doubt I'll get any) the tablet has been a huge life-saver when I just don't want to get up to my desk or just want to chill in the living room with my family(I don't really play games outside, I either just look around or listen to music).

I bought 3 games: Xenoblade Chronicles X, Splatoon and Super Smash Bros., I love the aesthetics of Xenoblade and Splatoon is also fun, I am just waiting for my pro controller to arrive to properly play Splatoon and SMB.

Next year I want to get some Wii remotes, the sensor bar and some Wii games.

What should I get? I like action games, RPGs and horror.

The Wonderful 101 is worth playing, also Bayonetta 2 and Star Fox Zero. Breathe of The Wild if you haven'y played that.

Yeah, that was my plan, I will mainly buy physical copies for the Wii and Wii U.
I never owned a Wii so I'd like some games for it.

Also if you can find one, a Wiimote with Motion Plus is worth it! or the accessory. Skyward Sword and Red Steel 2 are great.

I think I still have the Wii Motion Plus thing somewhere in my apartment.

I put on Aroma and used the plugin to access Pretendo. Managed to get a few games of Splatoon in. There's quite a big community of players still using the social services on the third party hosted servers. Check out the art community when you get the chance.

It's so surreal seeing modern social posting on this 10 year old infrastructure, it's quite nice to browse through.

Anyway did you know that the gamepad can host Wii mode? The camera built into the gamepad acts as a IR sensor.

I remember Miiverse being absolutely insane, I hope it is at least similar now lol

Get Super Mario 3D World as well. The switch version is alright but it altered the speed of the characters to be a tab faster so it's harder to do platforming on that version.
