Hey Guys! Good Day! I've been enjoying playing Shining Resonance Refrain and it kinda stood out and surprised me. Turns out it has a Good if not great English Dub. This coming from someone one mostly prefers the JP voice acting. What are some other JRPGs with good dubs? Please recommend me some. Thanks! ::winkfelix

I cannot claim these dubs to be good, but here is a short list off the top of my head of games I did not automatically switch to Japanese.
Dragon Quest 8,
Suikoden 4 & 5,
Xenosaga 1,2 & 3,
Disgaea 1,
Valkyrie Profile 1 & 2,
Tales of Symphonia, Abyss, & Vesperia,

To me main thing is fit of the dub than quality of it.
Like, I would say persona games had good dubs but I would still take Japanese over them just because English is regardless the quality quite jarring with the setting and characters. This is why I would also not myself recommend something like Yakuza just because of this.

Final Fantasy games. (10, 12, 13, 15, not you 14)
Generally really well voice acted, generally have worlds that the English fits better than Japanese even.

Tales of the Abyss*, Tales of Vesperia.
These are very good. The anime aesthetic lends itself better to Japanese but the setting fit English VA's, and Vesperia's cast especially is stellar and Baker's portrayal of the main character. Abyss is also OK but I would play it with undub just because like Symphonia, they cheaped on dubbing by not voice acting the skits, that should be and undub fixes that. If you can live with this omission though, it is nice.

Not my own recommendation so much as I have yet to play the game myself, but Resonance of Fate has extremely highly regarded dub.

These are off the top of my head:
  • Any Final Fantasy. I can barely even imagine any of them in Japanese.
  • Any Dragon Quest. Arguably the best localizations of any game ever. Scripts are so creative and whimsical (though I guess the only actually dubbed ones are 8, 11 and the Heroes games as most of the games are text-only? I forget if HD2D was voiced, I think I turned it off bc it's mostly text).
  • Tales of Vesperia. It's really corny but it fits the time period when it released super well, makes me super nostalgic for some reason.
  • Kingdom Hearts. If you count them as JRPGs. They even have full english lip-sync in every game which is rare even nowadays.
  • Persona 3 Reload. Haven't played the original so can't speak for it, but the voice talent for this version was just phenomenal all-round. The voices of Yukari, Junpei and Ken particularly stood out for me.
  • Xenoblade Chronicles. I've only played a bit of the first one in the series, but I thought the voice acting stood out immediately.
