Cross-platform multi-console emulator supporting a number of 8-bit and 16-bit gaming consoles.

Features

Emulation for the following consoles:
  • Sega Genesis / Mega Drive
  • Sega CD / Mega CD
  • Sega 32X / Mega 32X
  • SG-1000
  • Sega Master System / Mark III
  • Game Gear
  • Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) / Famicom
  • Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) / Super Famicom
  • Game Boy / Game Boy Color
  • Game Boy Advance
And now also PC Engine (not cd for now)

I'm glad to see the Mega CD and 32X support but there are Nintendo consoles being added?

Now I'm thinking of making it my main emulator over Mesen.

This emulator is very good. Unfortanely it doens't run 32x well, at least on my poor laptop. The specs requirements are pretty high for that, specially in comparison with Kega, which is way more light weight.
GBA emulation is also laggy on JGenesis, but smooth as butter on VBA, for me
I see that now they have support for cheat codes, ;) amazing

It's really neat how that emulator supports so many systems. Even better there's a Linux port!

what's the recommended emulator these days anyways?
i basically use kega fusion for everything megadrive/genesis, game gear, master system, 32x, and CD and never really have any issues, that i noticed anyways.
kega hasn't been updated in 16 years though, so i'd like to see other peoples opinion on the best options for those.
EDIT: for windows 11 btw

Kega is good, but doesn't have hotkey configuration and overclocking. 32X is way more optimized on Kega, but JGenesis is way more accurate
