Jellies & Preserves

So last week I got some apple jelly. And....... it tasted like apple pie filling. Good, but it could use some cinnamon.
And this week I got a jar of cherry preserves. It tasted like cherry pie, and that was perfect.

So, lets talk about jellies & preserves & what they taste like.

When my dad worked in an airport, he brought home small (As in barely a spoonful small) jars of jam, they had enough to spread into a single toastie, sadly i believe by 2008 they discontinued the brand that made them, and i can't find them anymore

I love preserves, jellies, jams, etc. I tend to stick to European brands since I enjoy them the most. I recently found one called Festa Italiana, the blackberry one, and it's delicious. I typically get St Dalfour, Danish Choice (apricot, raspberry, strawberry, cherry varieties are sold in Ollie's discount stores), and Aldi Simply Nature Organic Preserves. Stonewall Kitchen Blueberry Preserves are also delicious. Another good one is Bonne Mamam, however they're a bit more watery.

Usually my grandma buy some peaches preserves, she make desserts with them
And I like so much the blackberry jelly
