Japanese Subforum in Non-English English discussion

No idea how much demand there would be for this at all, but taking into consideration a lot of retro games also come from Japan, I feel like it would be appropriate to have a subforum for Japanese speakers to talk about games--maybe it would encourage Japanese gamers to join us too. But again, not sure how many people on the forums speak Japanese already for it to be viable or active enough to add.

Besides, it would (selfishly) give me a way and reason to practice my Japanese lol.

A fair number of members have expressed at least some understanding of the Japanese language, so I'm not against such addition.

That said... I don't know whether anyone on staff also understands the language, which can make moderation into a bit of a problem.

It's certainly worth considering.

Yeah, that was something I thought about too (but somehow forgot to mention in the original post). Might be hard to moderate if no staff speak the language.

According to to this thread, a surprising number of regulars speak Japanese.

I certainly don't, but the staff is from all-over the world, so someone might.

no offense but the japanese already have better gaming and general talkies forum, so i honestly don't see many of them coming here, jut my opinion.

sounds like a good idea, lets get more people that actually speak japanese, so maybe we can get more interest in doing some translations.
