Jap to Eng translation help wanted!

So, the quality of the translation in my last patch was heavily criticized ? I'm no Japanese language/culture expert, I did study the language for quite some time but that was a few years ago and I'm certainly rusty by now. I have a Bachelor's in CS, my main focus is the hacking bit basically, but currently I'm doing all of the work myself.

Anyway, since I'd like to keep on translating games and I'd like the patches to be as good as possible, I was thinking maybe there's someone here interested in pairing up for the translation part?

I'm currently working on a new project, which I'll comment on at the appropriate time. There's still a chance I hit some hurdle I can't deal with and I don't want to get anybody's hopes up and then fail to deliver (we know that happens quite often in the fan translation community and I hate it), but so far things are looking good. So, if anyone out there is up for the task of translating scripts from Japanese to English, drop me a line over PM!

First, let me say I love your avatar. Second, I have a feeling that ever since RHDN stopped being actual translation hub and became a ho-hum news site at best, it seems it's become harder to get ahold of actual knowledgeable translators for projects.

Still, your best would probably be to post a help request on their forums and see what crops up.

Yeah, you're probably right. I'm way more active in here so this seemed to be a better place to start, but I'll drop a message over there, see what happens.
