How the hell did I not know about Jamiroquai up until like 4-5 months ago?? Honestly, I have gone through their entire library of music and all of them are so good, they remind me of driving through those roads on a mountain in a convertible where there is like a sea to the right and where it's sunny and everything. Truly they are peak groovy music, this song is my current favourite:

this is my second favourite song:

Learned about them from Napolean Dynamite lol

Canned Heat and Virtual Insanity are just the tip of the iceberg and if you’re a 90s kid you know that Jamiroquai is one of the acts back then.

How did Jamiroquai flew under you radar? Virtual Insanity's MV is pretty famous even Family Guy parodied it

Still, they are awesome and I hope you like them. The world is in dire need of more bands like Jamiroquai

Jamiroquai is my favorite band! I also recommend Incognito and brand new heavies from the same genre

popular with girls when I was in high school, along with no doubt

Hidden gem? Not really. He was a one hit wonder and was treated as such during that time. The music video was highly praised, and it was parodied everywhere.

Arin from Game Grumps called them his favorite band.

It's fun music. I was a fan when I was in college, 25 years ago.

Later on, I came to be of the opinion that their frontman ("Jay Kay") is a bit of a cultural-appropriating jerkface. But like many things in life, sometimes it's best to separate the art from the artist 🙄

I'm a fan of Jamiroquai music and I would say his music is pretty damn good to listen to. I listened to his music a while back during my high school years. Virtual Insanity, Canned Heat, and Deeper Underground being my top 3 best Jamiroquai songs to date.

Yeah, a one hit wonder is almost the literal opposite of what a hidden gem is. I doubt the definition includes “extremely over-exposed”.

I agree, I was introduced to them by a Peruvian woman, and I've studied jazz and love playing bass and this group blew me all the way away. I have listened to Yes & Rush and a band called the Yellowjackets. These dudes blew me away song after song, just like Naltic says.

I meant it as a hidden from me lol, prolly should have worded it better, but hey, you clicked on it
you meant the band, to you, is a hidden gem. But if those songs you picked are what you were calling hidden gems, I guess they are way far more known than you realized. Oh well, cheers to another Jamiroquai fan.
