Is this just me being nostalgic or those graphics didn't age a bit?

There was a lot more graphical variety back then. Most developers made their own game engines and used different techniques. Back in the late 90s, PC, PS1 and N64 games looked completely different. You could always tell when platform the game was for just by looking at the graphics.
 
I loved late '90s and early-mid '00s first and third-person shooters. Two that I have a soft spot for that don't get much love are Mace Griffin: Bounty Hunter and Judge Dredd: Dredd vs. Death. Also Giants: Citizen Kabuto. I find games nowadays less aesthetically pleasing than they were back then.
