Is there truly no hope for other older untranslated dungeon crawler games to be released for modern devices?

Big companies like Konami, Capcom and Square usually don't care, especially Konami. But Final Fantasy 7 Remake the original director, Yoshinori Kitase was the lead producer and let Tetsuya Nomura, who was heavy into creating the original game along with the visuals, to be the director along Motomu Toriyama, who was the event planner in the original game. Kazushige Nojima, who was one of the heavy story writers along with Hironobu Sakaguchi and event planner in the original is now the story and scenario writer (and he also wrote the novels). The only one from the main group working in Final Fantasy VII that didn't come back in any official capacity was Sakaguchi. So, there is a case to argue that Final Fantasy 7 was a case of bringing the originals back to do the remake, as I mentioned.

Another case of not touching the original games out of respect?
Atlus' Persona 1 and 2. The key figures of both games left Atlus, and when they made the remakes they called them to oversee and even write some extra scenarios in the case of the P2 on PSP.

I understand your point. But then actually, to cause a sense of the key developers are involved in the MGS 3 Remake Konami made cryptic announcement of even people who were involved in past Metal Gear games are involved. My logic on key people is these games lacking "key leader" and actually the staff that matters in a video game, and then in context of a remake the people who will I list is not a key staff because their existence doesn't matter for the remake.

If you research history of the world, many civilizations fell without their original leader because it's not the case of "sum makes of one thing and that synergy itself is important". Leader is like a glue making everything stick well together. I personally disliked how some Metal Gear games are not a Metal Gear without its creator, as same case as FF7 Remake that doesn't even seem like FF7 and I don't mean the fact that they are a remake. If a creator had remaked the game only then the spirit of the game would exist, but in none of these games spirit of games lives on.

Hironobu Sakaguchi is not involved in FF7 Remake, making it pointless. It's more like Fake Fantasy 7. Naturally people would want to play Hironobu Sakaguchi's new vision, not some random dudes lol.

Original senario writer is not needed in a remake. We already know the senario.

Original event designer is not needed in a remake. We already know the events.

Original person who designed character is not needed. We already know how they look like.

Original person who produced soundtarack is not needed. We already listened to them.

Then who is left from original staff that actually matters? None.

Where is environment, gameplay, and whatever make the game the game remained? They are absent.

Instead they ruined the game with weird action game-esque BS with a new guy they involved and its director was some random programmer in new games. Who is that dude lol. Most fundamental aspect of the game are designed by people who were not in the original FF7 and rather they were only part in newer FF games. That's why they cannot keep the spirit of the original FF7 intact.

In war analogy; King, key commanders and heroes who kept us win wars are absent. All we have is scribe who is tasked with recording what will happen in war, bandmen who are tasked to play a musical instument for moral support and armor designer remained. We cannot win a war with these random guy who can be easily replaced lolol. Despite the original soldiers we lack the original commanders and the king so we cannot win this war. FF7 turned into Fake Fantasy 7 lol. War is lost, remake is ruined lololol.
