As far as I know there isn't, but it would also be impossible to write such a document due to the fact that everyone has different setups and hardware. What may be the best for you may be awful for me, and vice versa. So I doubt you will find one.

EmuDeck is what you're looking for! It's basically just a bunch of pre-configured emulators. You will very rarely need to tune anything.

the more established emulators tend to have wikis that can help for a game by game basis. the pcsx2 and rpcs3 ones have served me well.
