You see, im another forum I am in, in a thread about No$GBA's latest update, several people said it was the best GBA emulator even though the emulation general wiki says otherwise, and thus I wanna know.

I have always thought very highly of the No$ series, dating back to the DOS-based No$GBC, which was the among the first emulators to include Link Cable capabilities.

I totally believe that it has only gotten better since, but I do have a bit of a hard time seeing it as the definitive option after being steamrolled by Visualboy Advance and a myriad of other projects in the past.

Their various emudev documentation has always been regarded highly, but I think the simple matter is that their emulators got surpassed a number of years ago by other products, and many people never really went back to them. It wouldn't surprise me if they're excellent now though.

I haven't used No$GBA for years. I remember back in the day it was the only one that emulated the link cable and I used it to play Kirby and the Amazing Mirror multiplayer. I remember it being a bit janky back then though.
