Is it possible to commission a romhack, does anyone know where to find one?

I'm looking for someone to translate all the robopon games that were unreleased to america. As well remove the remote function blocking people from completing post game.

I want to try out the original after Melody Nosurname got me interested with the series, but the whole "needing a TV remote to do certain things" seriously turns me away from the original.

Translating a game isn't as easy as opening it in a program and changing the text.
First you'd need someone knowledgeable enough to extract the text, then someone who knows enough Japanese to translate it, then someone to reimplement the translated text.
IF you can find people knowledgeable enough to do that, they'll probably charge you thousands of dollars for the whole process.

And the only one that wasn't localized was the n64 game. You might have trouble finding people to work on it. It seems like a pretty obscure game on a system that's not easy to hack games on.

Commissioning a translation patch is no simple task. It would take a team of people that you'd have to organise and pay. Would probably take a few years and cost god knows how much money. Even if you are ready for that level commitment your time would probably be better spend just learning the language yourself.

This isn't like commissioning an artwork. Expect to drop thousands IF you can find a legitimate taker, and to get the motivation going.
