Is is true that videogames are bad for your brain?

I'd argue the opposite actually, that video games can help hone reaction times and moment-to-moment problem solving skills.

Asperger's (A.K.A the autism NTs find palatable) is not a psychological condition. And I'm not even gonna address the last paragraph.
In Hindsight i wrote a really dumb comment trying to sound smart, this shall be corrected

completing battle passes does infact make you less intelligent
It's turned into a battle royale in here. Just throw the judgment out the window. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Whether they refuse to believe it or not. I'll respect their decisions.

My family keeps sharing stuff to me saying that videogames (and technology in general) can get you addicted and/or rot your brain and all stuff. Is it true?
the only way that video games could rot your mind is if the game does everything for you and treats you like an idiot and tells you that you are stupid all the time. that would eventually wear you down and make you become stupid.
most, if not all video games, usually challenge the player to think creatively, plan out strategies and pay attention to their surroundings and help build up reflexes.
video games can be addictive; but you can stop playing whenever you want to. they aren't going anywhere.

This feels Ai generated
Is my localization way off or is everyone afraid to use big words? Don't be afraid to be honest?

no, there's nothing wrong with your list. it just happens to be in a format that some ai programs use when asked to list off stuff for a question.

And zerotpt detected it as being 97% ai generated

No honey, I can see nobody uses big words because everyone skims through articles & calls it bullshit

like i said, he set up his info in the same manner as an ai program. so, of course it would look ai generated.
I've had this picture since Google released its Nexus smartphone & been using it ever since. Speculate all you want.

No honey I speak from experience. You could be a 40 year old virgin living in a van down by the river still playing video games regretting to take breaks or actually communicating with people.
Yes, this is actually true. And I'm really great at majong and enjoy the complexity of registry string modding. I consider myself an intelligent person; so no, videogames don't rot your brain, but will hinder your social skills.

@MasterEn I love this place & the community. Don't call or assume I'm a fucking robot using complex words.

most of the time, you don't need to use big words if small ones work just as well. unless you need to be specific about something, most words work quite well in getting info to other people.

i wasn't speculating about anything. i've seen people use ai programs to answer questions. they use the same set up like you did: bold line with colon, key points listed underneath. if you had used an ai or an article for your info, you would have included the full thing in a link. since you didn't, i presumed that you knew what you were talking about.

You mean bigger & bold underlined words, copy & pasted word salad. I can understand that.

He didn't, though?
no, i didn't.

yeah, it's pretty standard way of formatting information in a list, especially if you know that people will be looking for specific bits of info. name of section, quick key points and then more detailed stuff down below.
everyone just assumes nowadays that nearly everything is ai generated; which is easy to see given how lazy people can be these days.

I don't swing that way. I'll just smoke a joint & drink my coffee.

It's not gonna kill you or make you stupid or anything, but some games can absolutely be addictive and bad for you. I don't care what anyone says, most F2P multiplayer titles are made to be as addictive as possible. This goes for most gacha games too, except its 20 times worse there.
It can also absolutely deteriorate your mental health depending on how much time you spend in front of your screen in your room, not to mention physical health as well.
Anything done in excessive amounts is bad for you, and I mean genuinely anything in the world. Nothing of too much is ever good for you.
