I have no idea. I have not been following comic books for a very long time and did not realize Captain America was black now with a terrible costume.
It’s Falcon. Steve Rogers retired in endgame and passed the name to him. Hope that clears it up.

I dunno. I rarely, if ever, watch movies these days.
Same tbh. More of a tv buff myself. Plus I don’t enjoy going to theaters anymore.

It's the opposite for me. I love going to the movies theaters, but my disability makes it hard to find time and energy for that.

That’s fair. I got kinda desensitized to it. I also have this somewhat oxymoronic issue where I don’t like paying the high price for basic tickets but also don’t want others to pay it for me (I do occasionally split the bill though).

It's honestly decent, nothing special, even as a part of the minority group the main character is. Me making cynical commentary about Ross being the actual antagonist was fun, though.

It was only for a while during peak woke tumblr Marvel, when Steve Rogers turned out to be Hydra Neo Nazi bad whitey, didnt last long.

It better be good, they re-shoot It like 5 times after every group screening and the script was modified several times too, but im still saying Harrison Ford should just retire

I have no particular desire to watch it. I've been burned out on superhero movies since before even Endgame honestly and they definitely have fallen off since. Watched WandaVision, which was okay, watched the first three-ish episodes of Moon Knight was was awful and I rage quit the show, haven't watched anything since. Call me when the next season of Daredevil drops.

It's had a particular troubled development, I think there was something like 5 rounds of major reshoots at various points which doesn't indicate to me particular quality of consistency.

Wrong by about a year and half prior, Rick Remender's previous run on Cap had him resume his natural aging, and an elder Steve passed the torch to Sam. Roger's came back after a forgettable event about a secret SHIELD facility with a human cosmic cube (basically a Beyonder, but the canon can be fuzzy), a version of Steve is rejuvenated and made young again with an altered history as a Hydra sleeper agent. Sam and "Stevil" clashed over the role until the real Rogers came back, and the two men have both been Captain America on and off since, like the Flash and other legacy characters.

(Also, Sam had been Cap in mainline continuity in an issue in the 90's, it wasn't even the first time.)

To add to that, there's been a *lot* of Captain Americas in publication, and the shield is implied to pass on to each new generation. Even if they don't take the name, characters such as Cable, Danielle Cage, and Vance Astro keep carrying the the standard.

On topic: Hell I don't know, probably? They don't let the writers and directors actually mix it up with these movies, they just keep trying to make it the 2010's again via technology or magic.

From what I've read, Brave New World is a re-hash of Winter Soldier that tries to play audience nostalgia for movies that are barely ten years old. Worse, supposedly they try to play up Ross and his relationship with his daughter, despite Ford being a re-cast in the role and Liv Tyler not being in the MCU since 2008; they've never interacted, there's nothing to be invested in.

I had no idea, didnt read Marvel much during those years, but i knew about the 90s stuff, and the nomad and battlestar and usagent wearing the costume, i liked that miniseries with the "Original" Captain América that was from an all black batallion during WW2, i just thought this particular SamCap was during those peak woke years, current run is pretty good if you dont know, back to basics and full of team ups. Thanks for the clarification.

Comics are just what I do on here, I have to remember to talk about games.

Edit: Also yeah, that mini-series was pretty cool, and I love the current run.

I'm going to watch this movie next Thursday

THERE'S A RED HULK?????????? HOW CAN THERE BE A RED HULK??????????

Actually, from a developmental perspective, wouldn't it have made more sense if Hulk was red in the first place, because red typically signifies "angry"? I wonder why they originally made him green. I only know the character from old '70s drama TV series, which was excellent.

Oh, and I didn't see this movie and don't know anyone who did, so. :(

Well acshually, the Hulk was originally grey???

I'm joking obviously, but he was originally grey to save on colour ink printing. Red Hulk is red because he was transformed by cosmic and gamma radiation so it obviously made him red instead.
