I have just finish watch all sesong of Inuyasha and movies, I love the serie very much::heart
Inuyasha have everything I love, friendship, love, lovetriangle and bonds.
I love the bonds between characthers and how friendship develops between charathers, I like lovetriangle between Inuyasha, Kagome and Kikyo, how Inuyasha are in love with both Kagome and Kikyo.
But sad part how Kikyo died loving Inuyasha and I loved the ending since Kagome married Inuyasha.

I`m going to watch Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon sequel of Inuyasha tomorrow and I`m really looking forward to it.

Inuyasha it`s my number one favorite anime::fireever::fire

Who would win? Giant black hole or 1 small wasp?

I haven't seen the anime in years but I remember having a great time with it. I have some sort of dvd collection of it with every episode that i believe might be a bootleg but its still good.

I'm currently re-watching the entire series plus the movies. I always wondered why it never got as much traction as Naruto considering it has A LOT going for it.

It's got the shonen issues of filler and tropes but as a whole it's still one of my favorite series to date. The characters are fairly deep/well-developed and there's a lot of focus on their relationships and arcs meeting/splitting. I tend to like media that does this well, and compared to other anime, InuYasha does this VERY well.

Side note; I FUCKING LOVE KAGURA

That was such a forced nerf. Yea, I get it, you can't just have Miroku black hole everything, but why not just make it so it generally fatigues Miroku or something else to limit it.
>Alright guys stand back! I got this!
>Oh shit, nvm bugs!

Ending 2, so many memories
THE MORE WE LIVE!!!!

Naruto was initially marketed toward children while Inuyasha went a little older, in North America that is. Inuyasha had a short run on Toonami before being moved to Midnight Run and Adult Swim. Cartoon Network aired Naruto on Prime Time.

Naruto was on Toonami. They had the Hundo marathon. I recorded most of it on VHS. :D

What I like best about Inuyasha is how the friendship between Sango & Miroku develops into love and of which Miroku becomes a better person when he gets feelings for Sango.
I like how Inuyasha gets more mature during story.

If I had chosen between Bleach and Fairy Tail, I would have chosen Inuyasha since I think Bleach and Fairy Tail is a bit boring an inuyasha. But can watch Bleach and Fairy Tail without any problems.

Traction where and with whom? Even if we ignore the fact that the Naruto manga & anime kept going long after all Inuyasha media ran its course, both works were very different from one another.

Naruto had a large cast with dozens of characters and several story arcs that relied heavily on prolonged shounen-style fighting and only loosely contributed towards Naruto's aim of becoming Hokage.

Inuyasha had a much smaller by comparison core cast and almost everything that happens is in service of the main goal of completing the Shikon jewel and defeating Naraku. The fighting is intercut with exploring the relations between humans and demons, the cast's chemistry, Kagome's occasional return to her time and what she wants to do with her life.

I liked Inuyasha at the time but it was definitely frustrating to have it drag on for so long and then for the first anime to just end inconclusively because the manga was still running. I even took time from my watch schedule to watch Yashahime (badly written as it was).

Naruto had about 200 episodes, and InuYasha had 160 or so? Naruto Shippuden had a whopping 500 episodes, while InuYasha Final Act had about 40. The length isn't really the issue here, especially if you're counting filler to plot-relevant ratio. Every Shonen of that era was long with filler while waiting for the manga to catch up, but Naruto was leagues longer with a lot of filler waiting for more plot.

I guess I just enjoy InuYasha more. I appreciate Naruto's place in the genre, but I just jived with InuYasha way more. I really like Rumiko Takahashi's ability to focus on relationships and character development. It's a Shonen but it hits emotional points in ways that a lot of shows tend to fall flat for me.
