If for whatever Reason you got the Opportunity to travel back into the past or into the Future to a year of your choice which one would it be, and of course I am aware of the butterfly effect but lets pretend it won't exist for the sake of this Scenario also try to stay realistic and not like I travel back and become US president or something even more outlandish.
So some people say the world we currently life in sucks like hell but is moving back into the past given the choice really the better choice or should you instead travel into the Future where it may be better or 10 times worse than we already have it. Also to make it more fun you have to chose either Future or Past the the time Machine will explode in a deadly radius if you refuse--so chose carefully :)
My Answer:
I am torn apart by this question myself I would love to go back to the past maybe the 1800s for example but then there is the question would i not just be there and witness all the shit that happened back there to with other Events unfolding as they did in Reality ? so I may chose to go to the Future either because things may be better or Society collapsed and AI wiped us out or just a Social Collapse cyberpunk style or worse also I would be fascinated how things turn out and I could read all my Manga and would not have to wait for one chapter a eternity ;). Oh and yes to be precise if I would travel to the Future maybe the year 2760 I hope it would not be to far I first thought about 3000 something but I rather not.

go in the past and live in a jar like Diogenes ::dkapproves::dkapproves::dkapproves::dkapproves (wait, i can just do that now)

I actually like this moment on Earth we got comfy technology silly semiconductor calculators/communicators, only thing that's really bad is how violent this society is, scams are omnipresent and everything that we own got some scam, slavery and violence linked to it

i wanna see a civilization where everyone is just chill, where energy is basically unlimited and where everyone can afford personal transportation of similar capabilities as a TR-3B Black Mantra (in smaller cause that thing seem awfully large), maybe in 500 or a thousand years idk

I would only go to the past to show people themselves on video from present day and be like "YOU ARE SHITTY WHEN YOU GET OLD, TRY NOT TO BE." Future, no thanks. I don't even understand the lingo kids use now, going forward any more than that and they'll shoot me for being a caveman

Today is okay for me even if it could be greatly improved upon.

We are gamers, save slots or bust 😛
The past looks more environmentally healthy I think, the future doesn't look promising.
If it were like a fantasy then anything can be.

I think I'd rather go in the future, than the past...

Ah, sinto muito por ouvir isso...::sadkirby
I'm just saying that I'm feeling you know those topics that I created to ask for tips on things I can do to learn so I live in an old city everyone said that men don't Don't cry, don't do that, it has to be a man with an h and several things for me

It sounds like you’ve been carrying a lot, especially growing up in a place where emotions weren’t always welcome. That whole “men don’t cry” thing can really mess with how we process what we’re feeling. But you’re here, asking questions, trying to learn, and that’s fine. You don’t have to fit into anyone else’s mold to be strong. Keep sharing, keep exploring, there’s space for you to grow on your own terms.

Everyone just wants me to be strong, get a job and do a lot of things.

Yeah, It’s like people expect you to carry everything without ever showing the weight. “Be strong, get a job, handle it all” but no one asks how you’re really doing. You’re allowed to feel overwhelmed. You’re allowed to cry. That doesn’t make you weak, it makes you human. And honestly, pushing through while feeling all that? That’s real strength.

OThanks
