Oh, you know the rest...
I really wish they brought over reverse dramatic battle and variable tag mode into the port (other than facing Juni and Juli in survival mode ), but the fact they put in so much into this version that I let it slide. I have an emulation device with the PSP version that can plug into a big screen. That's a major win in my book.if you play capcom fighting collection 2, the street fighter alpha 3 upper on there has ingrid
and all the characters from PSP: Maki, Yun, and Eagle and the mode select from PSP and dreamcast (mazi, saikyo, classic), might be the best way to play alpha 3. (especially with special/super shortcut buttons, if you want them)
For Fighting Game Collection #2, they only bought four modes total to Alpha 3 Upper: Arcade, Dramatic Battle (you can't mix and match characters like you want in the PSP port, nor Alpha 2 Gold), Survival, and Final Battle. Three out of four that are activated via different cheat codes.really the PSP game has a LOT, def a better version overall (outside resolution and sound quality, which is minorly worse, not a deal breaker) View attachment 179228
shoutout to "final battle" mode helping me beat SF alpha 3 with the entire cast of characters within a small period of time. For Fighting Game Collection #2, they only bought four modes total to Alpha 3 Upper: Arcade, Dramatic Battle (you can't mix and match characters like you want in the PSP port, nor Alpha 2 Gold), Survival, and Final Battle. Three out of four that are activated via different cheat codes.
Assuming that ending is not canon or they use a broad strokes approach. It doesn't even get mentioned at all in IV nor V. Not to mention, there's still that subpop of there being two other psychopower wielders that came from the same master Bison learned from that are never brought up again.so ingrid in alpha 3's story just says bison is using "her power" so the psycho energy came from her apparently, and she took it back in her ending.
i wonder how this will tie in with SF6 and bison
Not exactly. Luke was more so very late addition and a preview of things to come in the next game. He still counts as an SFV character. So it's like Luke in SFV which is a SF6 guest?
