PC Indie Game Recommendations

Citizen Sleeper is a really simple Sci-Fi cRPG where you are a robot worker in a space station. It handles themes like identity, explotation and ecology.

Poop Killer best PC indie game series ever. For obvious reasons...

Granvir - A 3rd-person action roguelike mech builder that has co-op multiplayer. It has different campaigns with different difficulties and complexities; you pick which part of the region you want to head to after each mission, and on the second campaign you will start encountering optional obstacles you can tackle that can make your journey to the main objective easier. As for building your mech, you can build it from the ground up and choose every part to your liking, with each part having its own statistics and being based on tiers, and you can bring parts from past runs or save the parts to add them to the loot table. During missions you can complete some side objectives to get more items and parts, but it also could work against you if you take too long. Granvir also has something of a class system that can change based on the campaign you play on, and each has its own playstyle with benefits and downsides in what you can or cannot do

Mirage Feathers - An anime-themed pseudo-3D rail shooter. Unlock upgrades and other weapons as you play the story. Your character has infinite ammo, can lock automatically when it passes your crosshair, and your attacks will home onto the locked-on enemies. You can use overdrive as a screen nuke while also powering your weapons up, and there is a harder difficulty and endless mode when you finish the story. If you feel like the game is too hard, then you can activate cheat codes

I've got a few more:

Thunder Helix

A very retro flight simulator that is very MS-DOS esque. You can even pick up camels and drop them in the Persian Gulf!

Relentless Frontier
1760767651071.jpeg

A badass GZDoom FPS where you chop up space grubs with a force axe and turn them into ammo for your other weapons, as well as armor and health. Also has some pretty cool lore as well.

HOLE

I have no idea what this game is about. My Steam review for it describes it as simulating the life of a salaryman who falls into the black hole of gaming addiction and data piracy. It's a pretty fun tactical shooter that has great sound design and some creepy atmosphere that gets truly messed up once you get the key for the locked room on the third map. Trust me.

Blood West

A New Blood published joint that is an open-ended RPG set in a undead-infested portion of the Wild West called the Barren Lands. Pretty awesome, both the melee and gunplay are feel very punchy and rewarding and has some pretty good stealth mechanics.

Fallen Aces

Another New Blood published game, this one a cel-shaded Immersive Sim set in a very pulpy Thirties. You can interact with damn near everything, like eating a banana and throwing the peel to trip up a goon. You can even pick up pigeons and throw them at people. Has some beautiful graphics and comic style cutscenes. It is also hilarious- I LMAO'd when one of the goons nearly saw me and then said "I guess I musta had another stroke or somethin'." when he gave up looking.

Maximum Action

Yet another New Blood joint, this one a janky-ass FPS that is a love-letter to Eighties and Nineties action movies. You dual-wield everything, even when driving motorcycles and tanks. Despite the jank, it's pretty fun and plays like Max Payne, F.E.A.R and TimeSplitters were hard-boiled in the same pot.

Dont know if anybody else recommended these but here is a couple of metroidvanias:

-ENDER LILIES: Quietus of the Knights

Both are very well made and kinda feel like Castlevania Aria of sorrow/Dawn of sorrow gameplay wise

There's far too many to name but I wanted to add these!

Potato Flowers in Full Bloom, Hedon Bloodrite, UFO 50, Fear and Hunger series, Yume Nikki, WORLD OF HORROR just because I've been enjoying them lately.

Yeah, the game felt bigger, and the whole ability system got a slight rework. Overall it has more color than first game and music still bangs
