Increasing the max amount of visible comments for page, in any thread.

hey @Spike my suggestion is being able to increase the amount of visible comments in a thread from 25 to 35 or 40, and being able to choose how many you wanna see, like with a dropdown menu.

don't know if is possible.

Don't see why not. You could have any number of comments load at the same time, using comments per page is simply a multiplier. But as not to waste too much bandwidth and making the database work too hard they are usually limited to a number of pages rather than trying to load hundreds or thousands of comments at once.

I'd welcome a 20, 30, 40, 50 as a range of options (which said value can be defaulted by setting, or added as GET or POST per page).

25, i put this suggestion because, i like more comments for page, its more comfortable for me at least, and also you can keep it at 25 if you like.

hmm... that is reasonable, but i have seen how long some posts on here can get. you might end up loading a little more than your computer might be able to handle. i made a post that ended up being so long that i hit the limit and had to upload the rest as a text file. and if the other person had continued the conversation, i'd have several more posts like that.

yeah i understand, some people like writing a lot, i could add to the post, the idea of decreasing the minimun to 20, 15 or 10 for page, so if your pc is not good you can just choose to load less post.

i would say 25 is a good amount. not too much, but not too little.
