Anyone else importing the weekly Japanese magazine every once in a blue moon for collector's purposes? (unless you really know Japanese and can read it??)

Here I have imported vol. 38 of this year via eBay which on the front sports my current favorite on-going series, Akane-Banashi, which on the scroll proudly announces/celebrates that a TV-anime has finally been greenlit!

oh boy do i wish...
I only find the American version of the magazine at The Exchange where people trade in their old magazines along with games, movies, music, ect. I do have quite a few of those. But none of the Japanese originals that were weekly.

In Seattle, there's a Kinokuniya bookstore attached to the Uwajimaya market. They stock a bunch of weekly/monthly manga stuff there but the only one I ever picked up was in 2017 and was two issues bundled together. One was the current issue and the other was a reprint from... some occasion? It was a 90s issue at any rate. Wish I had it handy so I could see what it was all about.

Scratch that: it wasn't a 2017 issue, it was a 2017 reprint of two older issues. This isn't my copy but this is what I have https://www.ebay.com/itm/187529310738
