Yes, when you have your birthday in the game you get a cake, (it'll repeat next year too and so on). Those are good villagers to start with, do you like any of them so far?
She's a cute mouse. By looking at your town map it's like you're on your own little island with all of your villagers houses on it and the whole top area has no one living there as of currently.
After I expand my house, I'm going to do some renovations and decorations.I already bought a shovel, started digging, found something, and put it in the museum.
That's great, getting fossils donated to the museum is a good thing to do. Hopefully you'll find some nice looking items to decorate your house with.
UEI already have a decoration in mind that I'm going to transform into a gamer-themed decoration.
It should look pretty awesome, specially if you have a cool looking wallpaper and flooring.

It looks like Yay Day is tomorrow, January 25th. As for February events, there's a Flea Market on the first Saturday, Bright Nights, which is from the Monday of the second week of February to the following Sunday and the Fishing Tourney on the fourth Sunday in February.
