Why do you hate Zero anyway? He's been my favourite Mega Man character ever since i first played Mega Man X1 as a kid.

Adding to this question, does it have to do with Dr. Wily?

No, I just think Zero is boring and has even less personality than a piece of wood.

Much better than the Classic series, if only because they actually include him somewhere.

After playing Mega Man 2, I became curious about the franchise. While I was looking around, I came across some pictures of Bass, and I fell in love with his design. Wanting to see more of him was all the motivation I needed to play the rest of the games.
