maybe not weird weird. but vegan salami, (normal dairy) cream cheese rolls. but for added weridness, add said rolls to a marmite sandwich.

I was going to say vinegar in cookies, but apparently that's really a thing. A least if it's a small amount.

(I happened to be watching an anime where someone did that. And it wasn't a small amount.)

one time i had a severe hangover and i decided to make "the nukem"

it's essentially a sandwich with cheese, salami, ajvar (sauce with peppers n eggplants ), peanut butter and feta cheese.

it did not cure my hangover but it was very tasty...

Waffle dog?

Waffle dogs, hot dogs wrapped in a waffle bun from a specialised waffle baking machine that seals in the hotdog as opposed to wrapping a hot dog with a standard waffle, is a popular snack in my country. I remember discussing about it in a U.S. Catholic board and their response was..."wut...waffle dog? "

So I guess that could be regarded as a weird food combination internationally but I don't know if it spread out to other countries or it's still just a local thing.

They actually taste pretty good, the sweetness of the waffle actually goes well with the saltiness of the hot dog. And before anyone thinks about it, of course, we don't add maple syrup on it. Butter on the other hand...
