A few weeks ago i was out to the capital of my country due to my yearly checkup, and i had a free day.

I met up with my friend, and we went to a bookshop where i saw....

This absolute beauty!

Even if it was a bit expensive (Around maybe 50 bucks?) I just had to get my hands on it, and i did!
This is my first "anime" illustration book, but i also got an illustration book about fashion a few years ago when i was in college.

Anyhow, my question for you is do you like illustration books?! Or do you not consider them technically books?

I like em. The only two I've ever owned was the pre-order art book that came with the special edition of Fire Emblem Fates, and the art book of Command and Conquer remastered (also from a pre-order) though. I have a few more from other series in PDFs, artist works, and digital art books, if that counts too.

Oh yeah, i totally forgot about the preorder artbooks. I had a sleeping dogs one, and if i remember correctly, the whole disc case was an artbook

I understand. I'm trying to curb my book buying and read what I got but I love Akihiko Yoshida's art style since FF Tactics and when I saw The Art of Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together sitting on the shelf I had to grab my own copy. Would like a book of Tomomi Kobayashi's works but I doubt I'll find any available any time soon.
