I'd prevent my birth.

Depends on how much a certain action changes the futre of Earth and wheather the Earth's position is taken into account.

I'd go two or so years ago and prevent myself from breaking my modded switch.

Kill Hit- of course, that wouldn't work because many births were made out of what happened and sadly even if he wasn't there I still believe that World War II would've ultimately happened (Red Alert is pretty realistic in the way they portrayed that "What if" scenario).

On the other hand I could save Sega or even go to the far future to tell what to do for the best of humanity.

Go back and try to be less shy, go out a little more, and maybe I won't be able to prevent deaths, but at least I could make those days a little, at least a little, better.

If I'm just going back as myself to random past periods, probably just visit various places and eras and see how people lived, while either carrying the machine with me or staying close so I don't get myself killed on accident (I'd try to bring a gun or something just in case). I wouldn't try to change history because I don't know what the repercussions would be and besides, you're just a random person who probably doesn't speak the language anyway, so what are you gonna do? Of course you'd look out of place everywhere and might draw hostile reactions, so... it'd be better if you could time travel and either change your appearance to look like you belong or be invisible or something.

But then you'd never be born to go back to prevent your birth and you'd be born anyways.

For me, it's the basic money making scheme. Go back and convince myself to invest in Bitcoin or stocks in Tesla or Apple and such, or steal and make some killer app first like Flappy Bird. At least take back some Powerball numbers.

I'd definitely attend Woodstock Festival 1969, always thought that'd be the first thing I'd do with a time machine. After that I'd live my regional 80s music/disco scene. Probably wouldn't survive after all those events lmao

Also, if time was linear and not circular, I'd prevent myself from starting to smoke weed a decade ago lmao (I quit some years ago already)

I'd do what I could to break it. Less because I'd be more worried about the timeline or anything, but more because I don't want to deal with the hassle that would be messing with a time machine and the timeline.​
