You get one trip; past or future. No limits, no paradox talk, the Earth stays stationary, just a single jump. When do you go, and what’s the reason?

For me? 6969 because I'm curious, plus very weird and thats the story of my life.

In the 90's (even though I was born in the 2000s lol)

Do we get to take family, pets, and friends too? Or at least family and pets. I'm not leaving anyone behind. Can we take stuff with us?

I'd like to say the future, but I'm not very hopeful about it. For all I know, an asteroid could come and wipe us out decades from now or the aliens will finally realize what trash the human race is and wipe us out.

I'd probably choose the 80s or 90s again, and use my future knowledge to get a head start on some things and become rich. I'm nostalgic enough for those times that I don't even think I'd miss the luxuries I'd be leaving behind. A world without social media? Yes please. Getting to see the internet again back when it was actually fun? Yes please. Going back to a time when people were sociable? Yes please. A time when entertainment didn't suck? Yes please. A time when people weren't so obsessed with politics and ideologies? Yes please.

Sign me up baby! Everything gradually went to shit after the year 2000

I'd like to take some things back with me, but I'd have to hide them away. I don't want to have to explain to someone what my Nintendo Switch is.

I don't know. On one hand, I'm kinda glad to grow up when I did and have the experiences I've had when I had them. On the other hand, I've always felt like an older soul compared to others from my generation.

So I was born in the 90's and it could be interesting to see if/how things would be different for me if I grew up in the 70's or 80's instead.

I don't want to go back to the past or into the future. I want to travel sideways to a timeline that's less of a boring dystopia than this one.
you best start believing in cyberpunk dystopias.jpg

the Earth stays stationary
And one side burns while the other turns into a popsicle. XD

Ok joking aside... ya know probably 7025....
I figure that's more than enough time to have developed space travel, maybe even some neat Ghost in the Shell type android bodies. Screw the past... we already know what happened for the most part.

I want to see future tech.

I'm actually the complete opposite regarding future tech. I already don't like where it's going right now and I have absolutely zero interest in Transhumanism.

Last thing we need is to start melding with technology and giving powerful people MORE ways to control us and spy on us. Plus, I just like being human.

Okay maybe not that far back, but far enough to see one of these fellas
They had to have been legendary to receive a tribute of that magnitude... I need to know...
so about 530 or so million years ago then? when they lived in the cambrian period?

Better take a space suit and ultra high powered sunscreen.
During the time those creatures lived, the Earth had extremely high carbon dioxide levels.
The landmass was a barren wasteland with no vegetation, and the ozone layer was about as thick as Mars's atmosphere. Super amounts of direct UV radiation bombarded the Earth. Have fun XD

I could handle that ::flexing

Where morals of humans were higher. Where people truly trusted those who governed. Where love truly live amongst everyone.

Other than that, the 90s or even the 2000's. Those were a great era.

Mid-2000s, I want to see what it was like at the time and see my family and myself (from afar).

But also...maybe I could stop the prelude of the memories that drives my "older" brother's playfulness toward me, maybe a time paradox or something could happen to him, but I want to see how he could change...

To do list after I go back in time:

Buy Little Samson
Buy Rez for Dreamcast
Buy Valkyrie Profile for PS1
Buy Suikoden II for PS1
Buy Ninja Five-O for GBA
Buy Shantae for Game Boy Color
Buy Panzer Dragoon Saga
Buy a second copy of Kuon to keep sealed
Buy Stadium Events
Buy PC Engine version of Dracula X
Buy every classic SNES, GB, GBC, GBA and NES game complete in box and put them in the box protectors that I brought from my time

Invent something I know about from the future before someone else does. Hehehe.

I will stay right here and let everyone pining for their youth to go away so I can finally have some peace and quiet.

Whenever or wherever you are, there will be good and bad things. And if you go you could gain but also lose.
Also, only one way jump? Nah, give me multiple save and load slots.
