If you could only play one singleplayer game for the rest of your life, which game would it be.

Either some endlessly replay-able roguelike , like FTL or Into the Breach;

...something replayable for the sake of scores and speedruns, like Super Punch-Out or THPS;

...or something that encourages different playthroughs, like Fallout or Fallout.

It Would probably be Dragon Age origins: You have six origin stories each with a lot of variations of choices, the one that I always use for a canon Playtrough is the Commoner Dwarf one. So it technically has infinite replay value because of all the differents events you can get in a save.
That would be my pick as well. The game has great replay value( especially when you count awakening and other dlcs). Human noble is my favourite, and even with so many different outcomes I still end up making most of the same decisions.

I really need to go back and replay that game. I love going back to a beloved game 10+ years later and playing it almost like new. That and Awakening were so so good, the series really peaked at the first entry. I played a noble dwarf on my first playthrough and I remember I played a couple of the other origin prologues but I really don't remember those.

Not only does this game hold a special place in my heart, it has the content to last, trust me.

Killer7 is such an anomaly of a game, it plays so unorthodoxically but it just "feels" right.
This game has been in my backlog since forever. One day...

I would probably play Killer7 forever. It's one of the only singleplayer games i could start and finnish within one day.

it is insane just how big that Game is, I am not the type of person who calls anything new bad, but its wild that I think dragon age as a series peaked here in terms of RPG potential and general Gameplay

The only way that would work would be endless replayability, and for me there are a lot of games I could replay for the sake of improving my performance and pushing it to the limit, kinda like how speedrunners do. So, for that reason, I think I would choose QUAKE, the original one, so many maps and map packs to speedrun, the fun would never end (until I loose my hands to carpal tunnel syndrome)

Either that, or a really cool fighting game like Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution, or something like that.

I guess Final Fantasy XII.
I never went past the 12-hour mark (fitting) but that's like my dream game in many regards. I'd definitely have played it and XV already if they were turn-based, which is my favorite genre (or subgenre). And you'd guess I would choose a turn-based game but no, I can see myself getting bored of playing JUST that, eventually, so I guess the next best thing is FFXII. And I know that game has tons and tons of content and could last for hundreds of hours if you're really into it (and have the time) even if the plot is kinda meh, which could be a problem but I can also see myself safisfied with the sprinkled lore.
