Some of the criticisms were extremely unfair, but most were spot-on.

You know how much I love anime.... And how much I love yo hoing it.
Now, mind you, I have some pretty garbage-tier anime that are so awful they are actually good... but this "anime" if that's what you want to call it....

I didn't even waste HDD space on that flaming pile of garbage. It would have to become some other anime, and I hate to even lump it into the anime category because of how bad it was....

Avatar: The Last Airbender is more anime than that pile of shit. They would have to get a whole new writing cast, voice acting cast, and completely redo the first season to even garner any good faith from viewers. Honestly, no one from the original writing cast or directors should be anywhere within 10,000 feet of it.

People paid Crunchyroll for Anime, not calarts slop.
Their original content was already pretty cringe, but High Guardian Spice having nothing to do with Anime was an irredeemable misuse of consumer trust.

The way HGS treats it's male characters was derogatory. It's discrimination disgusted as "equality".
Little Witch Academia but ugly should never have existed. Nothing about HGS was good.

make Slimeboy, Snapdragon, and Amaryllis the main characters. Also just make the school be the villians as well.

If all else fails, just reboot the entire show and nuke everything about it. Rewrite it from scratch with actual writers and not from people who misappropriated anime streaming for their scam show.

Go to netflix or amazon prime rather than crunchyroll. never got why they picked the show up and then just abandoned them for a few years before dumping it out of nowhere. maybe there was a change in management or someone simply realised why the fuck they were making a western fantasy cartoon for an anime streaming service.

never really watched it but honestly if you want a Magic Fantasy cartoon with progressive theming thats actually good then watch The Owl House instead
