It's pretty decent the game especially because of the concept of trying to climb mountains by breaking roofs and being able to jump to the top which are 8 per mountain and avoid enemies although Popo and Nana carry hammers to defend themselves and also the learning curve is high as you advance in the game because there are floors that go to one side or just to the side and strong winds or other obstacles that can be a challenge throughout climbing the top of each mountain and also that playably is limited but it is possible to get used to the jump that sometimes you have to go from one direction to another to jump to another floor already broken with your hammer, graphically it is colorful for an FC/NES game and musically it is not bad despite the little variety and the sound effects can be heard at least. And also there is an Arcade port (Vs. Ice Climber) that is based on this game although the design of the mountains (stages) are somewhat different and challenging at the same time but good.
