Genesis I would love to see SEGA make a Genesis+ type console like the Atari 2600+ some day

So for a while Atari has been making these reproduction 2600 consoles for a while

and it got me thinking of what if SEGA were to make their own Genesis (or mega drive)+
Like reproduction controllers, cartridges, and consoles, that’ll be cool and they’ll obviously skip reproducing Sonic 3 for some reason

Won´t happen im sure Sega is happy with their current arrangement making games and making money.
Why waste time and money on something that will make them bleed money just so a very small group of fans get something.

We should be happy they did a mini console and lave it at that.

I mean... SEGA is still producing the actual Genesis in Brazil (through Majesco).

This wouldn't make sense for them.

Sega finally got it right with the mini consoles, but there's no cartridge slot. It'd be great if we got a Genesis 3 mini and it had a cartridge slot for Genesis games.

When this first came out I thought that a Mega Drive version of this would be awesome!
