PS2 I need help with Phantasy Star Generation 1 & Gen 2

Hey all, I got a modded IDE PS2 yesterday, hardmodded to take microsd cards for ROM storage. I've had zero trouble putting my ROM collection via HDL Batch, except for two specific games, Sega Ages 2500 Series Vol. 1: Phantasy Star Generation:1 and Sega Ages 2500 Series Vol. 17: Phantasy Star Generation:2, both with English translation patches. Whenever I pick the ISO files in HDL Batch, it just gives me an error that the ISO is invalid. Does anyone know what to do in this situation? Is there a fix for this or will I have to play these games via PCSX2?

IS it a bios thing maybe try with a Japanese bio's and see if the none patched game loads might need to try and re patch the game yourself
