sigh my controller is broken, the sticks are drifting so hard, the buttons are barely functioning and the right bumper isnt pressable
this sucks cuz i started trying to 100% celeste around the time it broke+i downloaded a bunch of old fighting games </3
platformers and fighting games, literally the only 2 genres that are worse on keyboard <3
is this what it feels when your wife dies of old age?

okay thats just my opinion but i think that fast-paced platformers (like celeste) and fighting games are objectively better on controller because with a keyboard, because fighting games are built for controllers, they were not designed for keyboards
also more comfy on controller

its just that something activates in my brain when i see someone talk about fighting games or games that i know have a dedicated speedrunning community that i have checked out

being completely honest here, you seem to underestimate the power of playing on keyboard, so i wholeheartedly encourage you to look it up and then try it for yourself, keyboard is very close to arcade button layouts, only without the lever, which is also how many fg pros play with those fancy leverless controllers

hmm interesting, ive only played fighting games with a controller and i reached farewell on celeste with a controller
sorry i just assumed that FGs cant be played with a keyboard due to how many buttons there are which might get confusing when playing competitively
but i assume its just a matter of preference
