One problem, out of the 20+ games that were delisted from my Steam Wish list I only found 3 on GOG. That's kind of what I wanted it for.

Unfortunately that seems to be the only option. If they put those games back I'd be willing to pay (if they go on sale for a big enough discount) but since they won't, oh well.

I just got it for Rocket League and GOG's library didn't really impress me. I'm sticking to Steam unless I can't find the game I want on Steam, then I'll use GOG.

GOG is mostly for retro, afaik some retro games that are both on gog and steam have fixes on gog that aren't on steam. But steam is better for both modern AAA and indie.

I'll save you the trouble of making it cause 90-100% of people here will say GOG.

That said, I really don't think you should feel all that dramatic about what storefront you use. Just use whatever you want/need to, it doesn't matter much at the end of the day. No one here is gonna find out you use a non-Steam or GOG storefront and pick on you lol. I got a handful of timed exclusives on there cause I was impatient and I always boot it up to get the free games they give out. It will never be my main place to shop but if something I want there is cheaper or only available there and I don't wanna wait for it to hit another storefront, I'll just snag it there.

It isn't that deep.

Mortal Shell is free this week btw. It's an absolute banger. There's a free DLC with metal band Rotting Christ music for the bossfights.

Honestly I will never understand the hate for epic. EA app and ubisoft connect I understand.
Yeah Epic is not steam it´s worse than steam but a store is a store they have deals just like steam does.
If you can save money why should it matter on what store front you get it on ?
