Ah, the work of Hajime Sorayama!

We have a few of his prints framed on the walls of our house, in various rooms. No, really...

I read an article about him in Juxtapoz a few years back. Fascinating stuff. And I believe that painting had been around for a while before Aerosmith decided to use it for their album art. His work is well worth researching, but beware - much of it is absolutely NSFW

Y2K Chromepunk... so much shiny silver surfaces and colorful vacuum fluorescents that it makes me puke mercury. Though the colorful vacuum fluorescent displays are really cool.
