I don't think its fair to hand people level 7 for donations if we are gonna be fair it can be a level 5 from the perspective of the site host its completely sensible since shiny perks like that work but if someone who is more active on the forums is still lower in level than someone who donated is it really fair for the active guy?

I don't think it's unfair. Most people who donate don't do it for the level but to help the site, most don't even claim it or post.

Of the people that post and are also supporters they were already lvl 5-ish so what perk would it be to give them...level 5?

I have been on plenty of sites that offered perks to those who donated and those were truly unbalanced (power bombs, anyone?). Here we just offer profile customizations for those who help around, which I can't, in good faith, see as something negative.

Besides, those who donate don't pay for their ride; they pay for EVERYONE'S ride.

I mean it's just $5 to get it and it's only shiny new cosmetics. Plus more encouragement to help keep the site going is nice.

It's weird that OP you are lvl 4 and can use some of the perks but don't?
And also don't want people donating having them...maybe you just don't like them? in that case you can just disable it for everyone, just a thought.
