thought i would take a gander at the x-files game, resist or serve
may as well be working out evading the first "boss"
this is hilarious as he isn't much of a boss, yet somhow i struggle to defeat him

Use the assault rifle on bosses, I remember it stunlocking them pretty nicely and when they're in the "death pose" go behind them and stab them with the stiletto. It's very finicky to get in the right position to stab them but I remember the time-window being fairly generous, you could get about 3 or 4 stab attempts before they recover from the "death pose" .
The final boss rush in Mulder's story can be very rough without ammo and without the assault rifle, too. Scully's final boss is a lot easier and if I remember right, they both have the same ending, just different events leading up to it, so if you're really in a jam and just want to finish, try going with her story route instead since it will be easier at the very end
