Super Hydlide is pretty good, don't know how this port compares. Even Virtual Hydlide is pretty cool if you look past the jank.

Eh I think the randomly generated worlds are interesting, but... That's about the only positive thing I can say about Virtual Hydlide.

I played through it recently. It’s not bad. There’s a good game in there. If the frame rate could be improved it would probably feel a lot better.

Honestly, this Hydlide game is not too bad compared to the Hydlide Special/Hydlide of this same console which in itself was an unplayable and unfair bad game.
