Recently, I remembered the chimera ant arc from Hunter x Hunter and how I really enjoyed the relationship that the characters Mereum and Komugi had. I was so invested in those two that I actually cried from two scenes involving those two characters.
It was a bit unexpected for me to cry when watching Hunter x Hunter. Are there any other anime that have similar relationships as these two characters in Hunter x Hunter? Bonus points if they aren't main characters or have little screen time in the anime. Also, bonus points if something happens between those characters that makes you sad or emotional.
