People here have already given great advice, but I wanna reinforce the idea of being comfortable with yourself, in your own head, though I understand that's pretty difficult sometimes.

But I personally love this idea: "If you're not someone someone who's comfortable being by yourself, with yourself, why should other people be?"

Of course, don't be too hard on yourself.

Hi Yuri. Thank you. I am glad you posted seriously. You don't mess around lol and a little tough love and honesty is sometimes just what the doctor ordered.

Like I said before I don't think I'm fooling anyone here, despite my efforts. Tbh I found myself a little aggravated at first with some of your points b/c it lacks the nuance to know where and when I am joking and what I was intending to gain from posting this thread but I am not going to look a gift horse in the mouth either. You put some serious thought and sincerity into your response and you didn't have to. Respect.

Apologies for the tone of my post when I first posted it. I edited it about a billion times to make it less hostile and more helpful, it's my bad. It's a personal pet hate of mine because I've seen far too many boys crashing out and giving up on themselves, and they only seem to respond when you're harsh enough to get them to think about their issues rather than ignore them.
