Never here, we had to go to a post office to send or recieve cards and packages, now that most mail is sent online even less often
I can imagine the people delivering the packages have to take the brunt of the anger from customers, even if they're not responsible for mail being damaged, since they're probably the ones that are out and about the most. With us they come every day only the problem is that sometimes they lose things and then there is always unnecessary stress with them. I am lucky that I don't get much stuff from them but I keep hearing how neighbors get upset about these people.
Yes, I can only confirm that. Just today I saw one of them throwing the packages on the ground. My friend from Wetzlar says that the packages are always damaged, for some reason.
Yes, there are some good people there who do a good job and I feel a bit sorry for them but there are also often came those who are always in a bad mood or are rude, it's just like that sometimes like that.I can imagine the people delivering the packages have to take the brunt of the anger from customers, even if they're not responsible for mail being damaged, since they're probably the ones that are out and about the most.
Probably a pretty thankless job. I always make a point to greet them if I happen to be out when they're at my mailbox, and they're almost always very friendly back.
Erm..You know what? I don't think I have ever seen a woman delivering the mail, not even through apps. Huh...
