Same, bright lights too (my eyes hurt when it's too sunny or too bright), and I hate a lot of very specific sensations (usually things I touch).I might have mild autism & ADHD.
I really do hate loud noises.
Well, you seem to be doing well on this forum. I'm sure in time things will be adjusted and you'll be fine. Did you know that Elon Musk has Asperger's?I'm autistic and also have ADHD, anxiety, depression, and PTSD. I also have chronic illness but we're still in the process of figuring out what's going on and a way to manage it.
Thank you very much. It's easier for me to feel comfortable in an online forum especially since everyone is so chill. I think I heard he was on the spectrum.Well, you seem to be doing well on this forum. I'm sure in time things will be adjusted and you'll be fine. Did you know that Elon Musk has Asperger's?
In my case too, my (older) brother: he has a mild mental retardation and various psychiatric symptoms (soliloquy, distraction, repetition compulsion, anger attacks etc.). I have to take care of him, as well as my eighty-year-old mother. ??My brother.
Won't go into detail, but I will take care of him for as long as I'm able.

Well, judging by our posts here I'd never know that anyone was autistic. My niece can say words but has difficulty putting them together. Her doctor has her on Adderall and 4mg of Risperidone daily.i was diagnosed with level 1 asd last year. i hope to reach level 99 one day.
posting on a video game forum in 2025 has undoubtedly given me 20 xp.
mark zuckerberg, lionel messi, anthony hopkins, many activists, high performaing CEOs, and basically everyone in stem. there's loads of us.
the broader autistic phenotype is a relatively new area of research. some studies suggest anywhere from between 10 - 20% of the population could present with autistic traits, indicating neurological difference are not only common, but have been essential in human society. i've certainly met many people who were undiagnosed, and might'nt meet the strict (and ever changing) criteria for diagnoses, but where were autistic as fuck. many being women. shout out to all the autistic women and girls out there.

She's my little angel. She will have support and will want for nothing.the fact she has been diagnosed couldn't be more important. hopefully she gets the appropriate support she deserves and lives a fulfilling life on her own terms. i grew up trying to meet unrealistic expectations of myself, i hope future generations wont have that same burden.

I'm glad you took it as a learning opportunity! :)Knew a friend in HS who had autism, I treated them like shit and really made it worse for them in the long run but it’s helped me realise my own flaws and how to treat people with conditions like that.
