What the title said, don't you find it weird that people who likes video games actually willing to spend their time on a forum, with bunch of strangers, instead of playing vidya games?

I play at least 2 hours everyday and around 8 to 10 hours every weekend, so 25 hours give or take on average, how about you guys?

It really does depend:

On my own: 20-40 minutes a day.

With an audiobook: North of one hour.

With friends or family: Around two hours.

used to be a lot - 5 or 6 hours a day and on weekends sometimes close to 10 , but that was years ago , now its like i feel that i don't have the time even though i have zero social life and i work 40 hours a week since the mid 90's , as i have gotten older i have got lazy and get fatigued at work easily and just don't have the energy to do much. i still download a lot of games from pirate sites and on average i would play each one for maybe 2 hours depending on how good it is - i tend to go more for the 16bit style retro games.

Less than 2 hours (and it's mostly mobile games) a day except for Sundays. Working 12 hours a day is a bitch.

It depends, I work from home and my job requires me just needing my work phone and my work book for 2 things so most of my day can be fairly quiet if we aren’t too busy and I’ll spend my time playing games if I have a new one like I’m actually playing Black Flag Resynched right now and that will be a thing until the afternoon lol

Weekends, if I have no other plans and don’t need to go anywhere, I’ll spend most of the weekend playing a new game.

If I don’t have anything new, I can go weeks without playing until the next game I want.

I get about an hour during weekdays and a couple hours each day on the weekend. I love my son but he definitely has eaten into my gaming time.

Its a toss up from 1 hour towards 4 hours on the weekdays depending if I want to play video games or study. but on the weekends i can play well over 10 hours and get a lot of stuff done on that timeframe. Work is whats stopping me from enjoying my hobbies! ::badpc

Too many (not in the last weeks, but I would like to play a bit more now that I must do something else).

On weekdays work days I mostly Play games at night but on Saturday I play whole day Sunday is my rest this for watching movies anime or cartoon.

It's funny you say that since, when I'm actively playing a game, I'm rarely to never pulling away from it to chat with people. When editing recorded footage, though, my work ethic is the worst.

It varies heavily based on what I'm playing/editing, but let's say my average is in the 10~15 range.

It depends, but I'd suspect at minimum 10 hours, but probably more since I'd say I play 2 hours nightly pretty often, or sometimes on a lunch break, or in a meeting that I don't care about (lol). Sometimes I'll watch more movies or read more, and sometimes I'll just be gaming, and sometimes I have life to attend to. It really depends.

Weekly average now is probably what I used to pull off in one free day when I was younger. A two hour gaming session is enough to make me feel a bit weary these days. Just sitting down for more than that makes me feel like I'm starting to slowly wither away. I feel like an old man lol.

If I play a game, I usually play for 1 - 3 hours, but there are also a lot of days when I don't play game at all. For example today I haven't played any games and instead read 9 chapters of Jukai (a random horror manga I found on dex), 1 chapter of Hen na Ie and 1 vol of Ruri Dragon. Also I plan to read Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun next, I already read it in eng years ago and now want to re-read it in JP.

honestly, it depends on how much i'm hyperfixating on a game.
sometimes i go the whole week without touching a single game, sometimes i play the game for like 2-3 hours or until my battery is extremely low. (i have alot of free time)
right now, i'm playing through persona 2: innocent sin so my gaming time is in the hours.

Depends. As of right now I'm putting in way too many XD
Once school starts again It'll probably cut back to a couple hours If schedules don't conflict.
I might record game play and other stuff to do things with but for now I just want to enjoy the games I'm playing without pressure.

Depends on my mental state. When I'm doing well I can get really into a game and play like 12 hours a day, neglecting my bodily needs to play just a little longer. When I'm not, sometimes I go for days or weeks without actually playing a game because I just don't have the energy. That's when I do stuff like collecting/organizing ROMs because it takes less out of me than actual gameplay.

Wait, people actually play them? I thought they just complained about how garishly violent they are and how they needlessly corrupt the youth

For me it usually depends. I tend to play more on my off days from work but I do try to sneak in some gameplay here and there before I go in or after I get off

I don´t wanna talk about it. I will say most people would think it´s bad and that not contributing to society. In which I say why should I contribute to a country that pushing people that are unemployed and charge taxes that are sent away instead of fixing the country. And don´t try to fix the living issue. I mean if I want a new apartment I have to stand in que for minimum of 10 damn years. so allot of teens live home until they are 30-40.

Anyway im glad I have a job now but honestly I rather sit home and play games becuse it´s the only living I bear to do this damn country and world makes me rather wish I was not alive. Only gaming and anime makes it worth it all.
