For awhile there, I started to think ROMhacking was eating up all my life's potential, my longterm dreams and goals.
But now, I'm starting to feel like perhaps it is instead pulling me toward my dreams, not ripping them to shreds.
After all, we all come together over gaming; such a broad array of tastes and interests despite an overall general common ground, and there are not only many types of games but many different deep aspects of why we game, what we like about the things we play.
And maybe we can use that to improve gaming on the whole.
I know I'd like to. Welp.
I guess I'll mark this as a turning point for chasing my dreams of creating certain projects that others may or may not enjoy; but the way I see it...
If it's a good design, good enough that someone as picky as me likes it, there's bound to be someone else to share the interest.
And it is with that interest at heart that I will strive to better not only the gaming community as a whole, but also gaming
itself.
Good night, everybody.
