I want to know how everyone is feeling about Digimon Time Stranger is it fun? I got at around 12:30 AM on October 2nd, but given my laptop specs, I have been a bit hesitant to play it so I want to know what people on the forum feel about it. Also, for those wondering about said specs, Lenovo Ideapad L340-15api

If you liked Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Complete Edition you will like Digimon Time Stranger, both games are very similar.
Agreed, but with ALOT more improvements compared to DSCS complete edition. I'm playing it currently and this is so far my best game of the year(and best all-time Digimon game), it blew past all of my expectations and truly feels like a real next-gen upgrade in just about every way. when compared to similar games like the last few Pokémon games which treat its player-base like idiots when they complain about legitimate issues, no actual evil villains like Team Rocket(just "misunderstood" ppl or groups /sigh), stripped features, bug-riddled game releases, and graphics that wouldn't have passed on something like the Wii, and Pokémon that are stripped out of the games then sold back to you. I'm really glad i quit Pokémon around the 3ds era, because the quality only got worse since imo, and their latest ZA game is only looking worse the more i see it.

if you want a fun creature-capture game with fun game mechanics, a good story with actual bad/evil enemies that want to kill you then give it a shot, there is a free demo out u can try and can transfer the full save to the main game if u wanna buy it later. i myself have about 23hrs of game time so far XD

Glad to hear it's good! I really enjoyed Cyber Sleuth 1 back in the day.
I'm currently drowning in RPGs, but once I've clawed my out of my backlog I'll check it out - hopefully by then the price will have dropped a bit as well.

i can guarantee you if you enjoyed DS Cyber Sleuth then this game is that and more, also from 320 Digimon(with DLC) to 475 Digimon so far(with current DLC)

and IT HAS A SKIP BUTTON FOR DIALOGUE!!! so makes New Game+ better

From what I've played the new one definitely doesn't felt an easy mindless JRPG at all, Pokémon style. Which on a side makes me happy, reminds me of a modern SMT but with Digimons.

My friends who are big Digimon fans keep saying that it's very good, if that amounts to something

Finally a new Digimon game but I haven't looked at it yet, hopefully it's good.

It would be a better game without denuvo and the insane pricetag (120 quid for the complete edition plus another 10 for dlcs) peasant edition is still 70.

Yeah, this is my logic. The price point is insane for both this and Sonic Racing Crossworlds, both of which interested me but I can't justify $70 and a $30 DLC Season Pass when I still have a heck of a backlog.

I know Metacritic is most of the time worthless, but it's still painful to not see this game going at full 80/100 at least.

A little strange but definitely worth my time.

It's a good game, despite the abominable DRM integrated and an unnecessary EXP DLC by fuck Bandai Namco, Seriously, my hatred for Bandai is similar to some people have for Capcom when they decide to be greedy as fuck!

Add nintendo, ubisoft and EA to the list of greedy as fuck companies.

That's sadly because people refuse to stop buying their products at their absurd prices, which leads to them justifying either keeping the absurd prices or increasing them even further, which makes it harder for the average customer, and let's not get started on the lack of quality for these 70-80$ games, over 30$ Game Pass from Xbox, along with Xbox increasing the prices of their 4-5 year old console by 100$ and trying to use the tariffs as an excuse, as well as Nintendo getting way cocky with how they've been acting as of recently, but if you want to know more I recommend watch a youtuber by the name of Real Life Fake Wizard here's the link to his channel: https://youtube.com/@reallifefakewizard?si=4zkwca8FJvoWl_nb
