how hard is it to mod psp2i into a new game?

imagine combining dot hack & final fantasy into it, the beast race transform into eidolons, some of the iconic locations from the dot hack shows, the towns, the multi glyph portals, maybe some ivalice is in there, how hard would it be to do such things?
 
Pretty much impossible, I would think, since they both have different coding for one, completely different core game mechanics, art styles, and storylines that are fundamentally incompatible. And well they use different game engines.
 
There probably isn't much of an effort on the modding side for PSP2i unlike the discovery of cheats for the game or other things like the DLC or the in-game soundtrack (which I had a part in).

It's probably possible since there are mods for Dissidia FF and the PSP version of Tekken 6 but it's just that some needs to be willing to do so.
 
As much as I'd love to put the entirety of PSO's levels in Portable 2 Infinity it's impossible...
