How Do You Listen?

Depends on what type of music, where, when etc.

At home, due to not living by meself, either via monitor speakers if it's not a criminally nice jam. If it is, either going for AKG K240s or Koss Porta Pros.

If I absolutely want to focus on listening to something, I either go for the WF-1000XM4s, LinkBuds S or recently even cmf Buds Pro 2. Latter are pretty fun to fiddle with when it comes to spatial sound.

Outdoors it's usually just the LinkBuds S. They are too reliable and durable and never disappointed me since.

As far as mediums themselves go, foobar2000 never let me down thus far, but I also dig listening to jams on a LP or even on tape.

I think I understand how women feel when they are addicted to collecting shoes.

My secret weapon will probably forever remain these. Love them to death. I just wish AKG didn't die the death they did.

i used to have spotify as my daily driver, but the horrendous load times on the desktop website coupled with how much it was missing made me go back to my ways of just looking up everything i feel like listening to on youtube. though unlike in my pre-spotify era i no longer just click on an "every *artist* song with lyrics" playlist and shove it all in my head with no heed for chronological or especially album order. (i used to genuinely just treat albums as grab bags i could listen to in whatever order rather than front-to-end experiences, sometimes i'm still tempted to, especially since i almost never finish an album in one sitting)
