Is there an account settings page or something that lists these details? Or do you just keep an eye on notifs?

Solution
If you want to see your warnings, there's two ways:

1- You can look at your popup profile info, which appears when hover mouse on name of your account (or by touching it in mobile)
warns3.png

Here, "1" is number of Active Warnings, and "4" is number of total warnings (including expired ones)

2- You can visit your profile page.
If you have any warnings (even expired ones), a new tab will be available in there:

You can see details of each warning you have received in that tab.
Warning will send I you breaks the rules which you find Here. Like if you make a same mistake again and again you will get a warning for each of them.
Like what happend to hitman99 he spam and get banned for making many side accounts.
You can it explanation there too. Some rules which update like sexual content added lately won't ban you but will delete your content and then it add to rules.
So check it out to see if there is any new rule. Also I think copyright files will delete from site but don't have any warning or ban risk in first time.

It should appear right under the profile itself. If nothing is showing, there are no warnings.

An example status line:

Now THIS is compelling stuff. It wasn’t until just now that I thought “Being a mod would be pretty juicy and entertaining” LMAO

I do remember joking with @ATenderLad a while back about knowing how ignored someone is and I said something like “I don’t think I want to know how many people ignore me” ::linkmouthcover

Thank you @happymasksalesman, @RageBurner :-)

Also, each user can only see their own warnings, and cannot see warnings of other users.
Yeah, that's hugely important to clarify.

I never really liked it when forums let you see other user's warning levels and stuff.

How to know if you have a warning: look for the filthy goblin fingerprints, they'll be all over your profile.
They like to goblinate profiles... and cheese.
I HATE CHEESE... goblin cheese! Smells like gym socks.

<Shakes head> Bururururur.

But yes, your profile will have a notification on it.

I thank for the clarification, I was assuming they were public until this point.

While I agree that users not having their warnings displayed publicly on their profile is probably a good idea, there are times where I wish I knew a user got warned for their disrespect. Like having their post content replaced with a [this user was warned for this post], or at the very least notifying that to the person who got disrespected that a punishment did occur.

Otherwise it might make the victim think that the situation was swept under the rug, when in actuality it might very well not have been the case.

There is an option that does exactly that, but I have always been hesitant to use it.

Maybe that should change.

If I may interject my opinion.

I think it’s important to really consider how we handle situations where someone reports a post or behavior.

If we just brush things off or act like the issue isn’t serious, it can make the person who reported it feel ignored or like their concerns don’t matter.
That can be pretty frustrating and might even discourage people from speaking up in the future.

On the other hand, if someone says something that’s misunderstood.
Maybe they were joking or there was a miscommunication and it gets reported, it can make them feel unfairly attacked or judged.

The same goes for the person who reports.
They might feel like their concerns are dismissed or that they’re being made to look bad.

So, I think it’s really important to handle these situations with understanding.
We should try to consider what was meant and the context before jumping to conclusions.
Treating everyone with respect and fairness helps keep the community healthy and makes sure people feel safe to express themselves without fear of being unfairly attacked or misunderstood.

I like your style, short, sweet, to the point.
You passed the Goblin Test Number 42. Welcome aboard!

Huh.

<Looks at sword> What? Oh, yeah. Sword says you'll get your mail on Wednesdays and Fridays. Just talk to the Table in the Adventures Guild.
