I have signed up to Retroachievements recently and I played a game on an emulator(mGBA) and I got some achievements, but they didn't reflect on my RetroAchievements profile, I would appreciate some help with setting up Retroachievements cuz I don't understand what I'm supposed to do after that ::frown

Thank you for going through my message

You have to sign-in on the emulator as well. RetroArch seems to be the most commonly used one..

Edit: Also, for this site, only input your username, not the entire retro achievement URL...

For vast majority of retro systems, RetroArch is what you want to use to be able to use retroachievements. There is accounts and RetroAchievements tab in settings that lets you login to your account.
There is also few standalone emulators that do systems that RA is still less optimal with, or there is no core. There is specifically made Apple 2 emulator, and PCSX2 and Dolphin let you also login to retroachievements.

One downside with retroachievements is that it requires active online connection so it knows the achievement is valid. There is no offline cache system. This is really an issue with handhelds that also can have Retroachievements if you use retroarch on them.

TL;DR: https://retroachievements.org/downloads
