I really love it!
It's absolutely because 3D "frutiger aero"-type glassy designs are what was in vogue when I was the youngest person ever, but I have really hated the past *checks watch* 15 years of flat design. This, the new Lay's chips bags, IOS Liquid Glass: I really hope it's the beginning of advertising not being so bland.
My own insufferable nostalgia aside, the public statements that have come out of Xbox seem really promising. As well as the (ofc probably temporary) Gamepass price cut. I'm not really as immersed in Xbox as I am with the other gaming 1st parties, but it really reads to me like a commitment to focusing more on their core customer.
What do you think? Is it all optics? Are we so back?
